In the off chance that you want to get your resume set up to what PC requests of invitees, I give you this. One less thing for you to worry about when that invite arrives if it is already done! Plus it may keep you busy during those bursts of RAS :)
It also includes information about writing and formatting your aspiration statement, which I need to get to work on. I thought I was done with essay style writing when I graduated! I at least didn't think I'd be dealing with it so soon...
Happy writing!
you continue to make me laugh. thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteUgh, it needs to be in Word? I have a very nice resume that's designed in Illustrator and I send it as a PDF. Super annoying to transfer, and most people have Acrobat. Ah, well, at least I now know that I need to do it... thank you for the heads up.
ReplyDeleteBut still, JOY! That you're working on that part! Congrats again! ^_^
This is a wonderful thing that you have done.
ReplyDeleteI have been collecting bits and pieces from the aspiration statements posted by others to refer to when I need to write my own statement(s). However, these guidelines are fantastic and just what I needed to get off of dead center and do something productive while enduring "the big wait."
Thank you!
i turned mine in today! Only I have MSWord 2011... and I dont really want to go back and REFORMAT again for a .doc... And the desk officer for Thailand is out until Dec 9... so it'd better be okay!
ReplyDeleteAnd it's sad we won't be near each other since you're in the Ukraine and I'll be in Thailand. But there is always a couch available :)
Joey: Yay for that! Go me :)
ReplyDeleteKati: That is a bummer. I really liked my resume format that I had as well and reconstructing it to the new one was an bit of an annoyance. Good luck on gettting everything shifted!
Lew: Glad I could be of some help to you!
Kyle: Hopefully that works out for you and there is no issue! And likewise on the couch in Ukraine!
