I have never worn glasses in my life. My eyes aren't bad by any stretch of the word, but I could be seeing better, hence the new glasses. This is going to be an adjustment...
Anyone have any idea how long it takes for your eyes to adjust to lenses?
no clue, never worn glasses. yours are super cute though! did you go see an optometrist because the doctor who did your physical recommended one?
ReplyDeleteWhen I went to have my physical done, I got a slap in the face realizing how hard it was to read some of the lines that I used to have no problem with. Since I have really good vision insurance, I had an exam done. I don't NEED glasses, but she said if I want to see a little bit better I can wear them and to wear them when I drive. Le sigh. So hard to get used to!
ReplyDeleteI like them a lot! Don't wear them yet if you don't need them. My eyes adjusted super fast. I only needed them for taking notes in class, but now I use them all the time. Honestly, if you're getting them for the PC, I'd wait to use them for the PC. Your vision will never be the same. :(
ReplyDeleteI'm so bummed I had to get glasses too!! I LOVE contacts and I hate how with glasses your vision is only clear through the actual lens. Oh well. The ones I got have some tribal symbols on them, so that's cool anyways.
ReplyDeleteI am still trying to get used to them! But wearing them all day is so difficult since I can see fine without them! But I need to learn now whether they are the right prescription or not now, not later. So I will give it to the end of the week... Clarissa-I can't put eye drops in my eye without closing my eyes and mildly freaking out, therefore contacts would be IMPOSSIBLE! lol
