Thumbs down to a colposcopy.
Discomfort is a bitch and I hate cramping.
Fingers crossed for not-bad test results (because in all reality, they will doubtfully be "good" test results as the HPV is there).
The doctor seems apprehensive about clearing me for a 15 month screening, even with not-bad test results. We will see and hopefully everything will work out and I will be able to leave in March.
I have a booster shot left for tetanus and, apparently, they don't have a booster for polio (according to the health department) but I did get a shot for it prior to 18, so I am confused on this part of the paperwork. It would also appear that the doctor writing that I have had chicken pox probably won't do it, so titer testing for immunity it is.
Boo! I hope everything with the lady parts dr works out for you. And as for the polio, they should totally have the booster.. I got one when I was little, and just got one again two weeks ago. Don't let them tell you it doesn't exist. Chicken pox titer isn't bad, it took a week to get mine done. Sending you healthy thoughts!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I figured that health department lady may have been off her rocker. Thanks for the well wishes!
ReplyDeletewas this your county health dept?
ReplyDeleteYes! That is what is silly!
ReplyDeleteMy local health department didn't have the polio booster either. Try a private travel oriented clinic.
